Whit Daniels is a familiar figure to the other residents as he walks around their Rexford, New York, building. He takes his twice-daily circuit whether the temperature is below freezing or nearing 100. When asked about his enthusiasm for walking, he says: "I've always done it. It used to be the Adirondacks." Peg (Mrs. Jim) North reports on her visit to see Ed Marks's United Nations poster exhibit at San Francisco's City Hall. Delightedly, she ran into Ed and Vera where a school children's poster contest was winding up. The Markses next headed east for their N.Y.C. apartment for the next poster showing at Greenwich, Connecticut. Ed had some health problems but by April they were glad to be back at their Mill Valley, California, cottage. Rhoda (Mrs. John McLane) Clark is another exerciser, with a Slim Gym, barbells and stationary bike. She gets her two-mile walk in the Manchester, Vermont, mall if there's too much snow. She had a cruise to Cozumel with her son, who has been a paraplegic since age 16 and lives with her, and daughter, who teaches disturbed children in Concord, New Hampshire. Dot and Howdy Pierpont have finally given in and added a computer (try dothowpierpont@aol.com), joining Don Allen, Rhoda via son Binny, Disque, Lieson, Marks, Olmsted, Westheimer and me. The Pierponts, visiting Hanover in April, found six days of miserable weather, including eight or more inches of snow but saw the Art Aliens.
