Big Picture: Olympic Quest

Mustafa Abdur-Rahim ’04 competes in the decathlon 400-meter dash during the U.S. Olympic trials in Sacramento, California, on July 16. Despite an impressive effort, the two-time All American failed to qualify for the Olympic squad, finishing sixth overall in the event, the highest finish for any collegian. Meanwhile, two Dartmouth alumni will represent the United States in Athens: soccer goalie Kristin Luckenbill’01 and shot-putter Adam Nelson ’97.
