Gordon Brown has finally written of his numerous travel adventures in a memoir, To No Nameless End, which had its book launching and signing last December in Seattle. He says it is or will be shortly available on Amazon.com. He writes stories of voodoo rites in Haiti, his encounter with an ancient adventuress in Timbuktu and his breakdown in the Sudan desert.

Leo Caproni feels that the long mini-reunion weekend was better for all—with more time to visit, explore, shop and just have a change. "I thought the Lake Morey Inn tried a little more on the food items and the service was almost better," he added.

Millie and Jack Corwith reported that Venice, Florida, their hometown, escaped the wrath of the 2004 hurricane season and they had no damage, no power loss.

Gardie Bridge reports that Trish was very disappointed she missed the mini. She was hospitalized at the time with a blood disorder. We hope she is back to full health now.

Betyou didn't know—as I didn't—that class president Bob Kirk is better known around Hanover and Lebanon as "Bingo 80b." That's because for more than the last 20 years he has starred as the moderator of the Tuesday afternoon live, in-hospital television bingo broadcasts at DHMC. Bob says the weekly broadcasts are probably the most rewarding thing he has ever done. In an article on the program, the Connecticut Valley Spectator says, the "aging Good Samaritan...has a warm, friendly banter...pulling their legs with his humor and generally being a warm, friendly guy who makes them forget—at least for an hour—that they may be very seriously ill."

Guy Swenson and Mary were out at Triangle X Ranch in Moose, Wyoming, last fall. It was Guy's 38th year there. They were joined by his three sons and their wives and they "all enjoyed riding horseback among the golden cottonwoods and aspen in that glorious country." Guy ran into John Montagne's son, Matt '73, at an art show in jackson, Wyoming, while out there. Matt reported that John is doing well.
