I thought you might like to know who is still left on February 1 from the 620 that went into our dorms in September 1928. We're down to 37,6 percent of the starting lineup, as far as we know, and the Grim Reaper has his scythe out for about one classmate a month. That means the last man will go in 2007. Please let me know if you're already dead. Reaching 90 is amazing and unbelievable. As the kids say, it's awesome. If asked as freshmen how many would get to 90, I think we would have answered maybe five or six. Actually there were about 100. So here are the 1932 Living Legends: Bob Ackerberg, Bud Alexander, Art Allen, Don Allen, Bill Allyn, George Blaesi, Joe Boldt, Steve Butterfield, Marv Chandler, Ben Cowden, Ned Cummings, Whit Daniels, Ned Disque, Tom Dublin, Claire Farr, Cal Fisher, Jack George, Lou Heavenrich, Ed Holbrook, Morry Hubbard, Cal Keirstead, Hank Kingdon, Marty Leich, Bill Lieson, Ed Mahoney, Don Marcus, Ed Marks, Jim Miller, Dick Olmsted, Howdy Pierpont, Frank "Pete" Power, John Richardson, Joe Roberts, Stu Thatford, Frank Westheimer, Jim Whiton and Gus Zimmerman.

Now the chat room. Hank Kingdon reports that not long ago he moved from Georgia to a life-care facility near a daughter. "There's so much to do at Shenandoah Valley Westminster Canterbury [in Winchester, Virginia] that we're grateful when the calendar isn't full." Peg North is well, except for eyesight, at her San Francisco retiree establishment.
