At carnival time Hanover was snowless. However, truckloads of snow were brought in for the intrepid students to build a respectable sculpture of a big "D," sloping for a sled carrying likenesses of Calvin and Hobbes.
The New Hampshire Historical Society's fall issue of its magazine was dedicated to the memory of Dudley W. Orr. He was a board president, trustee and later an honorary trustee of that society.
Since the last issue we have had notices of many deaths. A belated notice of Art "Tibby" Thibodeau, adopted member of the class after he married John Davis' widow, Ginny. Charlie Goldsmith's widow, Lee, and Lyn, the widow of Bud Foulks, both died in 2005. Dick Oberline died in January after failing briefly. Rip will miss his years of telephone visits with Dick. Our deep sympathy goes to the families of all these good people.
