Nobody loves me! So I made some calls, including to Bill and Myra Mathers, despite a heat wave in Vermont. Temperature shot up to 8 degrees. Those of you in Florida, eat your hearts out.

Bill Adams is sitting on a class treasury of more than $2,000. Anyone have a good investment strategy?

Max Feinberg says he can't play golf anymore but we reminisced about the last partnership tournament we played in after graduation. It was an invitational on Long Island, which we won with a 66 best ball. It won't be long before I'll be lucky to shoot that on nine holes. Can still play in the 50s—how about the rest of you?

Bob Boehm would not miss the 70th, even though in a wheelchair, with a healthy Fran by his side. Would you believe Fran just died, leaving a bereft Bob to fend for himself. How sad!

John Gilbert, one of the nine reunion attendees, has also passed away. Which means two of the 70 th group have passed away. If you want me to continue as class secretary you have to give me news to write about. You might not think that what is happening to you is that important but your classmates do not agree. Get in touch with me by e-mail, snail mail or telephone. I would love to talk with as many of you as possible.

Let's hear from you as to what your major was. Mine was history/poli sci. Did your major serve you well or, knowing what you know now, what major should you have taken?
