Hi all. Once again not that much news, so let me just start by saying GO STEELERS! Did I call that or what? My condolences to all Seattle fans. I know it was a while ago now, but I'm still excited!
Courtney Anderson wrote to say that she and Jason DaCosta got engaged the day after Christmas, in Napa Valley. They are tentatively planning a wedding in summer 2007, probably in Minnesota. Congratulations! "Jason is working at Alarm.com, a tech start-up (founded by two Dartmouth '9os!), in account management and customer relations. I'm in my first year of law school at Georgetown. We both live in the Washington, D.C., area and hang out with the Dartmouth crowd here, including fellow '03s Heather Hanson, Allison Sydlaske, Jeff Locke,Tina Low and Jess Walters, as well as Kwabs Akowuah '02, Russell Radebaugh '04, Pat Nailer '04 and Marty Hebert '05."
A pretty humorous update came from Alice Gomstyn. "I just wanted to mention that in December Jenny Thomas was positively regal as the Snow Queen in the New England Ballet Company's performance of the Nutcracker. Her many fans in the audience—including myself, Ashley Nowygrod, Pamela Piccola-Fales, Alexandra Roberts '02, Victoria Potterton '02, Christine Randazzo, Catherine Kemp '02, Kelly Burns '02 and Noah Shamosh 04—were quite impressed with Ms. Thomas' grace, elegance and ability to raise her leg higher than any of her fellow dancers, a handy skill on and off the stage, I'm sure. In other news: My husband (Brian Moloney '01) and I finally got back our wedding video, about six months after the fact. It's quite entertaining, but, sadly, does not include footage of my well-meaning but slightly uncoordinated chair-lifters (you know who you are) tilting me a bit too far forward during the traditional chair ceremony, sending yours truly, giant dress and all, sailing through the air down to the hard banquet hall floor. I was, luckily, uninjured, but if I ever get married again, I'm re- questing a chair with arms." That's definitely good advice for all of us!
Don't forget to keep the updates coming! I know someone out there has been doing something interesting—let us know!
