It's hard to believe, but this is my last class column. Rick and I have enjoyed working together as the class co-secretaries, which provided us with the opportunity to keep in touch with so many different classmates during the last four years. By the time you receive this issue of the magazine our 25th reunion should be over. We all need to extend a huge thank you to the following people: Rick Silverman for his diligent leadership overseeing the numerous details involving our reunion as the chair; Greg Clow for his coordination of our very impressive 25-year reunion book and maintenance of our creative class Web site; George Alexakos for his financial wizardry and excellent sense of humor while overseeing our reunion bookkeeping; and Mark Davis, Eileen Chamberlain Donahoe and Scott Stuart, who expended many hours organizing our fundraising effort as the reunion-giving chairs.

Ken Fagan, Mark Burton, Mark Bedard, Patsy Fisher, Chris Andrews, Jim Jankowski and Chip Betten court joined Bob and me in Hanover to celebrate 100 years of Dartmouth hockey. It was a very impressive turnout by our class and a wonderful celebration weekend. The guys took some Advil both before and after the alumni game that was held as part of the festivities so they survived without too many aches and pains. Brent Cole wasn't able to join us from Alaska, where he is busy practicing law at Marston & Cole, P.C. He is spending lots of time in the frigid Alaskan rinks with his sons Ryan (age 13) and Brandon (age 11). Both participated in the Nationals this year with their hockey teams and when you live in Alaska, that means you're traveling.

Hugo Ribot and his wife, Karen (Tennessee '81), are also busy trying to keep up with their three kids in suburban Georgia. His oldest, Sydney (16), is looking at colleges, while Max (14) and Sara (13) aren't far behind. Hugo recently visited Tom Taylor for some California snow boarding at Mammoth. Mike Komara is enjoying life in Florida (a little bit south of Cape Canaveral). He is chief scientist for Air Net Communications Corp. and has worked there 12 years designing cellular wireless base station equipment (what your cell phones talk to). He was just granted his 17th patent in the cellular wireless field. All of us classmates with teenagers of driving age appreciate the invention of the cell phone and should send Mike a thank you note! He plans to attend the reunion with his children, Alexandra (11) and Austin (8).

Cross an ocean and you can visit Susan Chess Tabler. She is currendy in Dubai and invites friends and classmates to look her up if you happen to be in the neighborhood. That's all for now. Once again, thanks for a fun four years and good luck to your new class secretary!
