DARTMOUTH MEN in the Wellesley area have held two well-attended meetings during recent months. Dartmouth Night was fittingly celebrated at the log cabin of Don Wilbur '24, and then on the evening of February 26 the Wellesley Country Club was the scene of the annual dinner and meeting of this Massachusetts group. Professor Herbert West and Ted Arico, the backfield sparkplug, came down from Hanover and the famous "Fifth Down" movies were exhibited.

You'll observe that the past tense has been used in the preceding paragraph. Actually, due to closing date requirements of the MAGAZINE, this is being typed in advance of the meeting discussed. Therefore, it is impossible to name the new officers to be elected, although it may be stated on good authority that a completely new slate will take hold and inject fresh pep into the club's activities. The annual picnic is tentatively set for early in June—an occasion that is attracting Dartmouth men from many neighboring towns in increasing numbers each year.

During the past year the Club has lost a few members through change of residence but the influx of newcomers has maintained our number in Wellesley close to the hundred mark. A main activity of the Club is the Wellesley Loan Fund, made available to the authorities at Hanover with regularity each year.
