Summer is almost here! Many thanks to Jessica Sharkness, who sent an excellent update that practically wrote my column for me. After almost three years of living in (well, near) Boston, I am preparing to pick up and move across the country to California. I've been accepted to a Ph.D. program at UCLA in educational research methods, so come fall my new home will be in Los Angeles! (Scary, huh?) I'll be moving/road tripping across the country in late August or early September, so if there's anybody out there in the middle of the country who wants to host aweary traveler, drop me a line! In other exciting news, in July I will be traveling to Bulgaria to visit an 04 friend, Andrew Hamilton, and also David Yin. I hear lots of exciting stories from David and Andy about life in Bulgaria, so I can't wait to experience it myself!" Jessica also mentioned a few funny stories from this past spring. 'A week or two ago Jessica Tam and I spent a night delivering T-shirts to high school students who were just admitted to Dartmouth. We dressed up in all Dartmouth gear (Dartmouth sweatshirts, Dartmouth hats, etc.) and talked up Dartmouth to the prospies. It was a lot of fun. I hope we convinced some of the prospies to come! About a month ago I hung out with John Robinson and Bill Fay at a trivia night in Somerville. I left early (while we were losing badly), and I guess I must have been a dead weight because after I left, John and Bill managed a massive comeback—they got second place. Two smart cookies, those two are. Bill is graduating from law school this spring and might be heading to Chicago; John is going to law school this fall at Stanford."

I received an anonymous tip that Jenn Nistad got engaged to Kevin McCooey, a Georgetown alum, over last Labor Day weekend in Charleston, South Carolina. Their wedding is set for May 20 in Charleston. Her wedding party includes Kristen Knoll, Emily Turner, Beth Vadasdi, Erika Fry and Allison Sydlaske. She and Kevin plan on living in New York City after they return from their honeymoon.

I chatted with Rachel Antal recently as well, and she gave me the latest on her life." I did Teach for America and taught in Atlanta right after graduation. I got married in July of 2004 to my longtime boy friend, Jason Ledford. So now I'm Rachel Ledfordl I'll graduate with my masters of accounting from the University of Hawaii in May. I'm taking a belated honeymoon to Hungary, Romania and Paris till July. Then I'll start up working as a tax accountant in July and finish taking the C.PA. exam. That's about it for me. I'll be visiting Clara Lee in San Francisco in mid May. Are there any other Dartmouth '03s that live in Hawaii? If so, I'd love to hear from them."

That's a wrap for this time. Please keep the updates coming!
