Hello class of' 04: I am writing this on the Fourth of July, and hope it finds everyone enjoying the summer, cookouts and celebrating American independence wherever you are!

Class news is sparse this month, but class engagement and wedding news abound: M.J. Maloof got engaged to Alison Winstanley Smith (Johns Hopkins '02) on June 14. On June 24 Amy Price and Ross Markwort were married in Baltimore, Maryland. Many Dartmouth alums were present at the wedding, and all reported that the wedding was a blast. Amy and Ross head to Guyana this fall, where they will be teaching through the organization World Teach. Finally, Julia Keane was married to Dave Seidman on June 17 in Simsbury, Connecticut. Bridesmaids included Brennan Mallonee, Megan Newton Lanese and Khristina Gonzalez. Groomsmen included James Seidman '06, Andrew Seidman '09 and Fred Silva. Other '04s attending were Brigit Ferguson, Alex Talcott, Kristin Steinert, Kevin Mazur, Jenny Sharfstein, Josh Langsam, Emily Beverage, Charles Kluender, Sarah Tonnesen, Rachel Bender, Jeremy Presser, Melanie Griffin, Jared DeYoung, Josh Mayer, Fenton McCarthy, Matt Meehan, Cameron Nienaber, Laura Rosow and Ed Yip. Also attending were Scott Beveridge 02, Sammy Kardon '03, Andrew Mulligan '05 and Ann Kapusta '07. Julia and Dave live in Seattle, where Dave works for Microsoft and Julia works for Pacific Portfolio Consulting, a 401(k) consulting company.

As a final note: Please know that you do not need to be engaged, getting married, traveling in a foreign country or even changing jobs to send in a tidbit for Class Notes. It's not bragging—it's just sharing info to make the class column more interesting. Hope to hear from you!
