Lots of '01s are on the move: Chance Hill is off to Japan in January with his Navy F-18 squadron and after a few months will then be heading to South Korea. Anne Wadlow moved to Providence, Rhode Island, with fiance Fred Drogula, where she's writing a dissertation in the classics. Jennifer Feltner moved from D.C. to Mississippi to begin a year of volunteering with AmeriCorps on post-Katrina disaster recovery. Twin sister Molly Feltner is doing great in Boston as a travel writer. Negarra Kudumu returned to the United States after spending two years in Europe, where she received her graduate degree in international relations. Jessica Marshall is teaching humanities and special education at Fannie Lou Hamer Freedom High School in the Bronx, New York. Dinorah Calles is living in Rio de Janeiro conducting a dissertation data collection as a Fulbright fellow; get in touch if you're in Brazil!
Tim Carpenter is back in Hanover and started his first year at Tuck. Kristin Verdiani and Lynne Grossman recently visited Tim, where they caught up on old times at 5 Olde. Kelly Fisher just graduated from Lewis and Clark Law School in Portlan0d, Oregon. Chris Relyea will be starting at Columbia Business School in January; Kate Mattern will be joining Chris at Columbia Business School starting next fall!
Debra Brodsky switched jobs and is working in business development for Saks Fifth Avenue. She recently attended Melissa Edelman's bridal shower, along with Rachel Sondheimer,julia Levy 02, Liz Hoeffner Smith, Alexis Vagianos, Suzanne deVries, Julie Calderon and Miriam Ingber. Rochelle Bourgault is working for Quarry Books; her first book, a craft title called Hip Graphic Knits, is due in bookstores November 1. Adrian Loehwing is working for Accenture in Boston and living with Jess Webster. Adrian plays polo with the Myopia Polo Club and is doing tons of traveling, having just gotten back from England, he is off to Chicago , followed by Kenya and Tanzania. Jorge Miran da is the new principal of the MATCH Charter School in Boston, which has had tremendous suecees cess taking kids from the Boston school system and significantly boosting their eligibility for entry into and success in colleges.
Shira Reiss got married to Max Krance in a beautiful ceremony in October; Dartmouth alums Leslie Sandberg, Kate Mattern, Conner McGee '02 and Meghann Ganey danced with the happy couple before the newlyweds took off for their honeymoon. Gabe Horwitz was recently engaged to Jessica MacLeman; they're planning a September wedding in Washington, D.C. Nicholas Kovner just got engaged to Georgia Vasilakos and will be getting married in June.Judd Newcomb proposed to Amanda Montgomery on Labor Day weekend, and they're engaged to be married in September. They recently celebrated with friends Jenna Perry and Steve Leschuk, who got engaged the weekend after them. Margaret Kuecker is engaged to David Sloat; they plan to marry next summer. In September Eric Kelley married Loreen Chiumiento in a ceremony in York Beach, Maine. Family and friends celebrated in Kennebunkport, Maine, including members of the classes of 1973,1999, 2000,2001,2003 and 2005. Angela Russo, Jim Flahive and Jennifer Lee attended Lili Beneda's wedding to Brian Murphy in New York. Liz Kleinerman married Allison Blecker on Cape Cod; lots of'01s attended the wedding, including Stina Brock, Jess Penchos, Sarah Lodewick, Mara Tieken, Veronica Ramsey, AN Villagra, Andy Hoey, Isaac Berniker and Maribel Florez.
