For our 608th reunion on June 11-13 chairman Bob Kirsch and his committee have planned an interesting and relaxing program. Treasurer Joe Kurey has replies from 104 attendees, including 59 classmates. This is the last formal June reunion sponsored by the College. In the fall we will enjoy yet another mini-reunion at the Norwich Inn on October 19-21 in conjunction with Dartmouth Night and the Columbia football game. Joe Hayes is again making the arrangements. Shelley Segal looks' forward to his return from Kyoto Japan, in time for our reunion. He has been there in conjunction with his work for the Population Council. Head agent Frank Weber is making his usual outstanding effort to enable the class to meet its fund goal. He also writes of having to send his wife, Ursula, to a nursing home where she can receive the necessary care. John Trethaway and Helen Bridge attended a part of the ongoing 25th anniversary celebration of the Dickey Center to hear Dr. Gro Harlen Bruntland, former prime minister of Norway and former head of the UN World Health Organization. A dinner was held at the Hanover Inn where Ken Yalowitz introduced his staff and the prime minister spoke again. John notes that they thoroughly enjoyed the evening and that he was honored to represent the class.
The sympathy of the class is offered to the families of classmates who died recently: George Fellers, November 6; Donald Ruegg October 22; and David Wright, February 2.
