The 65th reunion is swiftly approaching (September 28-29) and chairman Huntly Allison reports that as of this date (June 23) he has 88 reservations, with hopes that the class will break the College record with more than 100 in attendance. Important: You need to send the reservation form you received from the College in July back to the College—not to Huntly—to assure your room at the Inn. The College is picking up your tab for the two-day weekend, so you must follow the procedure. There's a full schedule of events, so it will be quite a full weekend. Look forward to seeing you there.
Received a note from Murray Latz, Valley Stream, New York, saying that he and Marjorie are very well and looking forward to reunion. Dick Deane reports from Easthampton, Massa-chusetts, that he, too, is among those planning to attend. He retired in 1983 and is ever grateful that he got out of World War II without a scratch.
As you may recall, 1942 participates in the alumni memorial book program, meaning we contribute so the library can memorialize each deceased class member with a book in his name. Here are the latest classmates to be so recognized: Thomas Blankley, Henry Coleman, Bateman Ewart Jr., Clifford Fuller Jr., Robert Garwick, Walter Haley Jr., William Harris, William Holway, Thomas Hunter, James Idema,, Robert Kirk, Henry Kramer, Scott Libbey, Henry Pogue, John Sewall, Ralph Twining Jr., Robert Whelden, John Williamson, Warner Wilson Jr. There's not enough room in the column to list the names of the books for each, but I'll gladly give them to you if you write me.
See you in Hanover!
