From our perch in North Haven, Maine, Nancy and I are sitting on our deck, enjoying one of those special crisp and clear late summer days with nothing but blue sky over Penobscot Bay. The end-of-summer mail bag has been slow of late—well, actually, empty; no doubt a reflection of the travel schedules of our fellow classmates, so this column will be shorter than usual.

By now you all should have received the every two-year, quarterly class newsletter with news collected over the past year or so. If you need another copy, just e-mail Jim Erwin at jerwin@pierceatwood.com and he can send you another one via e-mail.

And shortly, Bill Cahill, our mini-reunion chair, will be sending information for the fall and winter planned mini-reunions, so look for those as well.
