It doesn't seem possible that five years have passed since our 25th reunion. Yet our 30th is definitely around the corner, june 12-15, and you can experience the glories of the McLaughlin cluster, as our class is being housed there. Other '78 highlights include a canoe trip to Gilman Island, a reception and tour at the Hood Museum and a dinner dance at the Skiway. For those of you who want to relive your freshman trip finale, you can spend the night at Moosilauke Ravine Lodge on June 11. Maybe they will serve green eggs and ham for breakfast! Our class Web site has more information: www.dartmouth78. com

There is a dearth of news this time, although I expect I will see many classmates at the Dartmouth Life Sciences and You event in New York. Suzanne Patton Wallace sent an update: 'After being made a partner in my hematology-oncology private practice group, we rapidly found a dream house 15 minutes closer to my work and church with gorgeous mountain views from the screened porch and breakfast room. We already have a nearly 2 1/2-year-old son, Matthew John, adopted from Guatemala (home at 51/2 months old), who is an absolute delight. After a long process we have just learned that on February 26 we will bring him home a "little sister" from the same country (at 1 year old, this time). My husband, Bruce Wallace, is a full-time dad and parttime missionary-in-training."
