Greetings from snowy Lake Tahoe, California (40 feet and counting). The 40th football team reunion was a rousing success with 23 of 25 players attending. Events included but were not limited to a tour of the new athletic facility (wow!), reception at Beta followed by the bonfire and a reception at the Hanover Inn on Friday. Dartmouth's new athletic director, Harry Sheehy, gave an update on the athletic program—very impressive. Saturday included a pregame reception at the Friends of Football tent, the Homecoming game and a dinner at Floren Varsity House.

Bob Cordy emceed a program that included reminisces from Barry Brink, coach Jake Crouthamel, trainer Fred Kelly, a Carnac routine by Mike Hannigan and Bob Moore and a rousing wrapup by our own College Football Hall of Famer Murry Bowden. About a third of the team (unofficial survey) already has some form of artificial joint—Dr. Joe Jarrett, who specializes in orthopedic surgery, ran out of business cards.

John Colangelo reported that a number of classmates attended the Ivy League Football Hall of Fame dinner on January 27, when Murry was inducted. Attendees included, but were not limited to Jim Rager, Jack Burnett, Mike Hannigan, Bob Cordy, Tom Price, Dick Wooster, Tony FitzPatrick, Ed Hanley, Bruce Barker and Bob Peters. You can see some pictures on our Facebook group site or the class webpage.

Sam Webster has joined the growing list of multi-home class members with the purchase of a condo in Vail, Colorado, which his children are already taking advantage of.

Bill Munich has been enjoying golf a: El Madera country club near Sacramento, California, after many years of ski patrolling in the Southeast.

John Colangelo has joined the ranks of grandfatherhooa with daughter Christina and her husband, Brian, due in March. For those of you joining this special fraternity of grandfatherhood, remember this important point: Becoming a grandfather isn't bad, but being married to a grandmother is tough to swallow.

John Baldwin was kind enough to point out that my news on classmate L. William Se- idman was not our own Bill Seidman, who is still CEO of Cerebyte—sorry, Bill. John has spent the last nine years in northern Italy and found it a tremendous base for outdoor activities as well as historical rambles. His three teenagers are enjoying the Italian school system and his oldest is thinking about the States for college in September 2012. John's wife, Chiyoko, finds time for yoga and tennis while running the show. In addition to time in France, John is traveling regularly to London now as he has joined the board of an London Stock Exchange-listed investment company managed by Ruffer LLP.

Russ Adams pointed out that we were on campus for two of the top 10 snow years at Dartmouth - No.3 (our senior year at 108.8 inches) and No.6.

Wayne Hobin reminds all of us to follow the latest reunion news on the class website. Make your reservations!

Keep the news coming.
