More than 200 alumni volunteers and their guests were on campus in February for another successful Club and Group Officers Weekend (CAGOW). the theme of “tradition and innovation" was evident throughout the sessions as alumni volunteers learned about new initiatives on campus as well as best practices. The alumni relations team engaged in a speed networking session so that the alumni could meet many of them and better understand their role given the new structure. President Phil Hanlon ’77 welcomed everyone home on Friday and his engaging presentation provided a great start to the weekend festivities. The annual club and group awards were handed out during a fantastic dinner on Saturday evening. The Dartmouth Club of Greater Boston won Metro Club of the Year. Large Club of the Year honors went to both the Dartmouth Club of Maryland and the Dartmouth Association of the Rocky Mountains. The Dartmouth Club of Northeast Ohio took the Medium Club of the Year honors and the Small Club of the Year Award went to the Dartmouth Club of Eastern Fairfield County (Con- necticut). The Dartmouth Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Alumni/ae Association won the Group of the Year Award. Amazing work from hundreds of Dartmouth alumni continues to be done each and every year. The alumni community remains strong and actively engaged and there is excitement about what the next year will bring.
