The treasurer's report on the 1906 50th Reunion Fund shows a balance of $10,062.21 as of December 1, 1949. This is an excellent showing when you realize that only 32 members have made a contribution to this fund. This should remind you to send in a check so as to get your name on the roll of honor.

Anyone who has not seen a copy of TheDartmouth Scene should get one from Jim Campion. The photography is the work of Bob Meservey and it is excellent.

The Sheldon Museum of Middlebury, Vt. has announced the appointment of HaroldRugg as one of its advisers.

A Christmas card from Cap Pierce enclosed a copy of a song "Christmas Cheer" published by him. Not being a musician I cannot comment on the tune but the words carry out the theme of the title very nicely.

Heyhoe—Retired as Head of the Dept. of Philosophy, Doane College, Crete, Nebraska in 1941. From 1941 to Nov. 1948 was a staff minister of the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles, Calif. Retirement from this work was necessitated by a stroke which has kept him bed-ridden since then. Two grandchildren.

Howard—"ln 1946 sold my interests in the lowa Valve Cos. and retired so as to be able to do the things we have long wanted to do. Having travelled in and around South America, we set sail on Jan. 10 for the Mediterranean, France, Italy and the Near East. Our hobby is recording in colored pictures the sights we see in our travels."

Jones—No report.

Kelley, A. O—"For the past nine years have been principal of the Grover Cleveland High School, one of the largest in St. Louis. Occasionally send a good prospect to Dartmouth."

Kelly, Eric—Still teaching Dartmouth students and writing books on the side.

Ketcham "Health—fair. Morale—Truman is weakening it. Outlook—no worse than a lot of people. The four grandchildren make the late years more bearable and are a neverending source of pleasure."

Kingsbury—"After selling our school we planned to settle down in an old New England house built in 181 x in Berlin, Conn. However the death of our daughter caused us to move to Wheeling, West Va., to take over the care of her family, two little girls, four and six, and a new-born baby boy. While it is quite a responsibility the experience is renewing our youth, and it is exceedingly worth while. Am looking forward to our 50th and hope Chidley and Watson Smith will be present along with the others. Four grandchildren."

Kingsley—No report.

Kraft—No report.

Ladd—No report.

Laton—"Like a lot of others am cutting down on my work but am still active in four clinics and also doing some medical teaching. One grandson."

Leverone—Nat's comment "Its great weather we're having." Nat moves around so fast I don't know whether his comment refers to the weather in London, Egypt, South Africa or the windy city.

Libby—No report.

Lindsay— "I see 'Bull' Turner once in a while but rarely anyone else as I live outside the city about 22 miles. Received my LL.B. degree from St. Louis University in 1910 and have been practising law ever since. Captained the 1909 football team there. My main pleasure is romping with my dogs and enjoying the excellent food prepared by my good wife. After living in hotels for 25 years I realize there is nothing to equal home life."

Luck—"We are building a house at Saratoga, Calif., which will not be ready until about March 1. Saratoga is about 50 miles southeast of San Francisco, in the foothills of the Santa Cruz mountains. Will welcome any '06 man at any time."

McGrail—The only comment from Bill was the announcement of his grandson, Sanford Birdsey McGrail.

Mclntire—"Still in the frozen and dried egg brokerage business—a mysterious industry which no one seems to have heard of except the tax payers who are paying for several million pounds to be stored in a Kansas cave. If Walt Powers will come out he can paddle his canoe on the route LaSalle took and see if he can better the six weeks that trip used to take."
