Class of 1877

The following is taken from a recent issue of the Burlington (Vt.) Clipper: "Addison E. Cudworth of Windham county is the dean of the Senate in his 75 years of age and in his seventh session of the legislature as a member, having been four times in the House and twice previously in the Senate. He brings to this body that sound judgment which comes from a well trained and logical mind reinforced by his wealth of experience in public matters. Age and silver locks have only added to Senator Cudworth's distinguished bearing. He is a true disciple of the old school, honest, true, and fearless." And more to the same effect.
