These most beautiful and necessary additions to Dartmouth's equipment are the gifts of Rolland Harty Spaulding, former governor of New Hampshire, and Stanley B. Hill '18, who lost his life in the American Ambulance Service during the Great War

The large windows provide adequately for daylight and air, and the clusters of electric lights are as beautiful by day as they are useful at night

Entrance to the pool from the Hill Shower Room is gained through the doors to the left under the balcony. The door at the right leads to the locker room

The smooth surface of the water is as pleasing to the eye as the beauty of the tiling. At the end of the pool the purified water sprays in day and night

At the spring board there is a depth of nine feet for the divers

The Stanley Hill Memorial Shower Room is finished in cream colored tile with panels of verd green marble bordered by Chinese faience
