Clarence G. McDavitt has been made assistant vice-president of the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company. It does not mean any change in his duties, but official recognition of the position which he has so ably held for some time. It is certainly gratifying to learn that a man can be chairman of the Alumni Fund and the Class Fund and make continuous progress in his own business.

Professor Harry Hutchins is conducting a class in the night school of the Ohio Mechanics Institute in Cincinnati. He feels that he is on the way of becoming a full-fledged pedagogue.

We are glad to hear that Arthur Roberts is again in fine physical condition. While at his home in Conway last summer he had a very bad intestinal attack, and an immediate operation was necessary. It was entirely successful, and while he was able, to return to his work he has had to take things rather easily.

Boston welcomes Cliff Miller back into its fold again. He is' sales manager of the Stedman Products Company, a large concern in South Braintree, Mass. While Chicago loses him, Boston certainly welcomes him into its midst.
