Committee on Alumni Cooperation in the Selective Process
December, 1925

Reassembling in the afternoon, Mr. McDavitt reported for the Committee on Alumni Cooperation in the Selective Process. The report of the Committee had previously been sent to the members of the Council. The report contained a suggested procedure for the conduct of this particular piece of work by the Council during the coming year. The first forwarding blanks will take about the first of December with a second, and last, installment about the fifteenth of February. The most important development of the work for the coming year was the adoption of a new form which the Alumni Committees are asked to fill out indicating with considerable definiteness the personal qualities of the applicant under consideration. Discussion of the report developed the feeling that the Council blank should, if possible, be filled out by someone other than the alumni sponsor of the applicant. Following prolonged discussion which seemed to indicate practical unanimity in the Council as to the desirability of continuing this work it was moved and

Voted: That the report be accepted and that the special committee on the Selective Process be continued.
