E. B. HALE '65 BEQUEATHS $7500 SCHOLARSHIP FUND

A scholarship fund of $7,500 for Dartmouth College was included among the bequests under the will of the late Edwin B. Hale which was filed for probate in Cambridge, Mass. Mr, Hale was graduated from Dartmouth in the class of 1865 and was a native of Orford, N. H.

The new scholarship fund is left by Mr. Hale in memory of his mother and is to be known as the Mary Hale Scholarship, the income of which is to be devoted to worthy students, preference being given to residents of Orford.
