THE MARRIAGE OF Ann Hopkins, daugh- ter of President and Mrs. Hopkins, to John Rust Potter '3B of Cleveland will be held at the President's House in Hanover on September go. Announcement of their engagement was made this summer at Northeast Harbor, Maine, where Miss Hopkins and Mr. Potter have been sum- mer residents for a number of years.

Miss Hopkins, who was Dartmouth's Carnival Queen in 1936, was graduated from Smith College in June. Before be- ginning her college studies she attended The House in the Pines at Norton, Mass., and studied abroad for one year, mainly in France and Italy.

Mr. Potter, who is the son of Mrs. Charlotte Rust Potter of Cleveland, received his A.B. degree from Dartmouth in 1938. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and Dragon senior society, and prepared for Dartmouth at Northwood School.
