William H. G. Mann is employed by the legal department of the state of New Hampshire in the engineering work connected with the boundary line suit with Vermont now pending in the United States Supreme Court.

Arthur D. Arnold was recently given a surprise banquet by the teachers in the Passaic, N. J., High School in celebration of his completion of 25 years as principal of the school. The mayor and others spoke, and Mr. Arnold was presented with resolutions embossed on parchment and signed by the state superintendent of schools and others in appreciation of his long and valuable service.

Judge Edwin B. Weston has been elected vicepresident of the Lions' Club at Derry, N. H.

Judge Edward Griffith, secretary of the board of trade of Manchester, Vt., has been elected a director of the Vermont State Chamber of Commerce. Very readable poetry from his typewriter appears occasionally in the RutlandHerald.

George E. Greeley and family are spending the summer abroad.

Beautiful displays of iris and peonies have featured the gardens of Samuel P. French at West Lebanon, N. H., this season.

Frank B. Pelton is prosperously engaged in thg bottling of NuGrape and other soft drinks at Lakeland, Fla.

G. C. Selden has largely retired from editorial work, and is now giving his attention to real estate interests in New York city.
