Every man was at least twenty pounds (12%) above average weight at the beginning and at the close of the season.
Eight men gained in weight from one to eight and a half pounds; two men remained the same weight; six lost, but every man who lost, with one exception, was at least thirty-seven pounds above average and was, therefore, better off with less weight. The one exception was twenty-four pounds above average weight and lost only three pounds.
The lightest man on the squad gained three and a half pounds.
Despite the losses reported of the men markedly overweight the team as a whole weighed three pounds more at the close of the season than it did on the opening day of training.
No man went stale during the season and not a single man playing on the team has gone stale during the past three years.
At the close of the football season of 1925, during which not a single game was los*, the men who did the major part of the playing were asked certain questions which are given below with a summary of their replies:
