CLASS OF 1878
December, 1928 William D. Parkinson

Rev. C. H. Pettibone, D.D., who attended the class reunion in June, writes from his home in Vero, Fla., that the great storm did no extreme damage in his vicinity, although some roofs were blown off and some windows blown in (or out), admitting rain to interiors. The chief damage was to fruit, and this applies to his own case. He says there is hope expressed that fruit prices on what is left will be nearly enough better to partially compensate for the losses.
