Milliken Gets Barrett Cup
AUGUST, 1928

L. C. Milliken '28, of Melrose, Mass., was awarded the Barrett gold medal, the gift of John Barrett '89, and will have his name engraved on the All-Round Achievement Cup which remains in the possession of the College. Milliken was chosen by the three upper classes as giving the greatest promise of becoming a factor in the outside world through his strength of character and qualities of leadership, record of scholarship and broad achievement, and his influence among his fellows.

Milliken is a member of the Psi Upsilon fraternity, of the Casque and Gauntlet society. His record of activities and achievements in college presents an imposing array. As a freshman, he played on the yearling hockey team and was secretary of his class, holding the latter position throughout the four years. He is a member of Green Key, Palaeopitus, Occom Council, the Athletic Council and manager of baseball. He prepared for Dartmouth at Phillips Andover Academy.
