W. W. Eggleston has gone to Sierra Blanca, Texas, on a loco survey. In May he expects to go to Southern California, and plans to be home again in September. Eggleston hopes to have an opportunity to look up Sturgis ex-'91 in Houston, Texas.

Robert L. O'Brien, who is in California, writes most enthusiastically of a visit to his classmate E. D. Burbank, who lives near the foot of Mt. Wilson in Sierra Madre. Burbank is not so active in business as formerly, but in his "semi-retirement" is cultivating so many different fruits, vegetables, and berries that it is difficult to consider his life anything but active. He is also chairman of a committee of the Sierra Madre Chamber of Commerce on school accommodations, which is undertaking a thorough study of the needs of the town, which is growing so rapidly that there is now acute need of increased school room.
