George Agry, acting as special representative of The Lamson, Inc., of Syracuse, sold the pneumatic tube system and other automatic carriers for the new building of the New York Life Insurance Company, which occupies the site of the old Madison Square Garden in New York. city. This is one of the most famous buildings of recent construction, and was designed by the architect, Cass Gilbert. One of the numbers of the AmericanArchitects' Magazine in March, 1929, was devoted entirely to the New York Life building, and George contributed to it an article describing the pneumatic system installed in the building and illustrated with pictures and diagrams.
The Secretary does not know the present address of the family of Cecil Archibald. Archie left a widow, Lysbeth Benham Archibald, and a son, Kenneth Warren, who would be about sixteen years old now. Perhaps some alumnus with affiliations in Brockton, Mass., the former home of the Archibalds, can help out. Any such help will be very welcome to the Secretary.
