Promptly as usual we received a reply to our letter of inquiry from George Davison of Chicago, who writes that following his favorite pastime of touring the Country, he and his wife have just returned from their usual Winter automobile trip to Florida, where he visited most of the interesting resorts along the West Coast and eventually brought up in Gainesville, Florida, where he spent a most enjoyable week and where our classmate Professor N. B. Sanborn of the University of Florida is located.

The Professor has been afflicted with quite a severe illness since last Spring and Summer from which he appears now to be slowly recovering and Davie found him able to be up and around his home, able to get around a little out of doors and hopeful of attending our Reunion in Hanover next June.

With everything in the World to make life enjoyable "Davie's" health continues to be good and he also expects to land in Hanover at the appointed time next June.

Not so good is the story we receive from Rev. Billie Service of St. Johnsbury, Vermont. His health has been anything but good for some years past with a nurse in constant attendance and more or less pain most of the time. He has not been able to go out of the house all winter except occasionally to church. However, he is still courageous and as cheerful as possible under the circumstances, but he cannot as yet say definitely whether or not he will be able to attend the Reunion in June. He is hopeful that with the advent of warm weather, he may feel better and will be there if possible. He sends love to all the boys. Drop him a line to help break the monotony of a "shut-in" existence.

Since the passing in November of 1936, of our highly esteemed Tom Flint of California, elected as our permanent President for life, our Class has been without a President, but as the result of a ballot recently concluded, that honor is now conferred upon the writer hereof who thus becomes the second President of our Class since graduation.
