John Remsen was elected treasurer of the St. Nicholas Society of Long Island at the Paas Supper held at the Brooklyn Club last April. The object of the society is to collect and preserve data concerning the history, settlements, manners, and customs of the Dutch settlers in America previous to the year 1786.
Among April weddings was that of Miss Louise Ledtje of New York to—yes—Dr. Leslie Orrell Ashton, also of New York, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Ashton of Lawrence. Les is assistant professor of pediatries at the New York Post Graduate Medical School and Hospital.

George Watts—Dr. George B. Watts of Davidson, N. C.—starts this summer his eighth season conducting Temple Tours "off the beaten track" in Europe. This year's itinerary takes in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Czecho-Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Bavaria, Switzerland, and France. Sailing on June 28, the return is the arrival in Montreal on August 25 or September 1.
