CLASS OF 1889

The principal speaker at the laying of the cornerstone of the Puller Memorial Hall, at St. Johnsbury Academy, July 5, was Rev. Ozora S. Davis, D.D., a graduate in the class of 1885. Among the other speakers were Henry J. Fuller of New York, donor of the building, erected in memory of his father, a former principal of the school, and Professor Arthur Fairbanks of Dartmouth, a member of the present board of trustees.

Sam Kennard has moved from Wakefield, Mass., to Litchfield, N. H. His post office address is R. F. D. No. 1, Hudson, N. H.

Information has come to the Secretary from New York city that Wheat has been made chief justice of the Supreme Court of the District of Columbia. He was appointed associate justice of the court about a year and a half ago.
