The second release of movies of College activities which go out under the name of "Dartmouth College News" will be ready for distribution to alumni associations by the middle of this month. The films, which consist of two 400-foot reels, each one taking about 20 minutes projection time, show two important sides of Hanover life during the winter months.

One of the reels is devoted to a thorough survey of the Baker Library, particular emphasis being laid on the use made of such facilities as the tower room, the 1902 reading room, the periodical room, seminar rooms and the reference room. The other reel shows a well balanced picture of Carnival and winter sports.

These movies are available for rental by individual alumni or by alumni clubs and associations, a number of which are now entitled to receive the films through their subscription to the year's series.

An interesting release by Dartmouth College News is announced in the production of composite films which include all of the subjects of major interest covered by the movie service during the past three years. These films, which include a total of about 800 feet, present an excellent picture of Dartmouth's varied activities and development during recent years. They are available for rental at a nominal charge, or copies may be purchased by alumni who desire to have a complete film record of the present day College.
