CLASS OF 1886

Walter Sampson died on April 23 at the Palmer Memorial Hospital, Boston, where he had been under treatment for several months. The funeral, held at Middleboro on the 26th, was attended by Mitchell, Burley, and the Secretary.

J. W. Newton has completed 38 years of continuous service with the Yawman and Erbe Manufacturing Company as its Boston manager. His resignation, tendered a year ago, was accepted March 1 of this year. Mr. Newton is treating himself to a much needed vacation. He spent two weeks at Atlantic City, and is now enjoying a three weeks' cruise to the West Indies, Colombia, and the Canal Zone.

The class headquarters for the reunion will be South Massachusetts. Rooms will be ready for occupancy at two o'clock P.M., Friday, June 12, and may be held until five P.M., the 16th Program: Saturday, college reception at the President's house, three o'clock P.M., and class dinner at Dartmouth Outing Club House 6:30 o'clock to 7; Sunday afternoon, picnic lunch at the Newton Cabin, Norwich.
