The first broadcast for the TWENTIETHHANOVEB HOME-COMING were sent out the first of April, and if the returns that have come in since that time are any criterion, it is certainly going to be a fine big gathering.
We can't write too much in these columns, as it is going to make the reading for the next sheets'that will be mailed to each member of the class. Should anyone fail to receive the notices mailed out or hear of anyone who has not received them, please do not fail to advise us so that we can correct any address changes.
It was an unpleasant surprise to learn that "Babe" Hartshorn has been on the sick list for some time, but we are glad to state that he is expected to return to work again in September. His temporary address is 16 Helen St., Saranac Lake, N. Y.
"Hug" Lena—who will of course be with us—and also Mrs.— gives us the news of the arrival of Richard—on the 17th of March of this year. All best wishes go with this announcement.
Ed Sawyer is noted at a new address- 227 Billings St., North Quincy, Mass.
Outside of the all-important reunion—the next of importance to the minds of the members of our class should be the Alumni Fund, of which Pett Pettingell is our class agent. Probably never before since this Alumni Fund was started has it assumed the seriousness which is attached to it at this time, and if ever it required your support, it certainly does this year. If every single one of us will take just a few moments of reflection, consider what we each owe to the College, and base our contribution for the maximum that can possibly be afforded, we will most certainly reach our quota. If at all possible we would like to arrive in Hanover on June 17 with "all bills paid to date."
As you know by this time, the chairman of the reunion committee is Dick Plumer. Meetings have been held, and regular meetings will continue until the last day. Any suggestions from any members will be more than welcome.
Now is a fine time to get everything set for the trip to Hanover, and once decided you will have a full month and a half ahead of pleasure in anticipation of a wonderful gathering in June 17.
Fred and Mrs. Day announce the arrival of another son on March 7. This makes number 6, and the new youngster's name is Tom, no doubt called in honor of his uncle Tom Brennock. Little Tommy is the first brother to Fred D. Jr., now going on 16. All of our best congratulations to the Days.
