The secretaries' meetings are being held just as these notes are being prepared for the MAGAZINE. These gatherings are surely inspiring occasions, and it is my regret that every man in the class cannot attend them. This year two other members of the class did get into the party, since George Thurber represented the Na,shua Association and Chub Sterling was here working in the interests of the Alumni Fund. Whatever the results of Chub's activities may be this year, it certainly should be said that he is taking his job most seriously, and if any class agent will be able to put the thing over Chub will do it. He says that so far the class has been cooperating one hundred per cent, and if only some of those who have not yet acquired the habit of regular giving, even in small amount, will help out this year the success of the drive will be assured.

It may be of interest to call especial attention to the class of the announcement which will be made elsewhere, namely that a visitors' register has been installed in the Hanover Inn, the purpose of which is to enable any in the class who are interested to know what other classmates may be in town. The names of all the 1911ers living here are given together with their addresses, and it is hoped that any 19Hers coming to town will register, so that this may become sort of a clearing house for men who are interested either in seeing their own classmates or members of any classes.

The inevitable has happened again. This time Hal Card has moved to 9709 Vanderpoel Ave., Chicago.

Announcement has been made that E. H. Griswold, meaning old Bendy himself, to- gether with his staff, has taken new offices at 1 Federal St., which address those in Boston at least will recognize as being that of the First National Bank.

The following announcement appeared in The Dartmouth, May 6:

"Under the auspices of the Dartmouth Outing Club, Fred Harris '11, one of the founders of that organization, will giye an illustrated lecture in 14 Natural Science this evening at 8:30. Mr. Harris will discuss the ways in which the D. O. C. influences the lives of its members after graduation from college.

"The lecture will be accompanied by motion picture shots of skiing in Norway, which Mr. Harris took while attending an international ski meet in that country. Movies of moose hunting in New Brunswick, Canada, will also be shown.

"Mr. Harris is treasurer of the Eastern Ski Association, and is well known in winter sports circles. He acted as an official during the Olympic Winter Games in Lake Placid last February."

If I must get back at Hap Hinman I may well do so by referring to the fact that he is ail excellent co-operating secretary. Hardly a month goes by that I do not receive from him something pertaining to the class of 1911. For example, this month there was a copy of the Boston University Club News containing a full-page cut of the House Committee, one of the four of whom was our own Chet Butts.

Word has come indirectly that Rath Sprague is rather disgusted with the sugar situation in Cuba, so that he has decided to let it worry along by itself for the present, and is now permanently located at Annville, Pa., where he has had his home occupied by his wife and children for several years.

New addresses have come in for Bob Morrill as follows:

Business: Room 514, 142 High St., Portland, Maine.

Residence: 106 Park St., Portland, Maine. Since Bob has moved to Portland we do not see him quite so frequently, so I am unable to pass on further information about him. Probably, however, he would say business is rotten.
