Reports differ as to the efficiency of the new 3.2 beer. After visiting Massachusetts, recently, Chadbourne had the hiccups so severely as to require the services of a physician. But on the other hand Judge Edward Griffith of Vermont says the chief effect the much advertised beverage had on him was medicinal in nature.

After a period of recuperation from his severe illness, Doc Lougee has resumed his practice at Fryeburg, Me.
