PEGGY SAYRE, friendly and charming helpmate of Ford Sayre '33, hut manager of the Ravine Camp at Moosilauke, was astonished to see Dr. Ralph E. Miller '24 approaching her domain in the wilds of Jobildunk not long ago, staggering under the burden of a heavy pack, while negotiating the curving trail with the help of (or in spite of skis. The camp was full up. Otto Schniebs was running a ski school and the place was crowded with folks of all ages and both sexes. Peggy thought that she would have to squeeze "Ruff" Miller in somewhere and probably for a long stay, if the size of his pack was any indication. The visitor drew up in front of the camp, weary from his mile and a half trip on the trail, unbuckled his skis, lowered his pack, opened it, and out came—his five-year-old daughter! They had come up from Hanover for an afternoon's outing.
