The Ulysse Augers welcomed their third child and first daughter, Jacqueline, on March 14. In his letter giving these tidings Ulysse mentions having heard Prof. Andre Morize recently, and this recalled to him the visit of Prof. Morize to Hanover during our days when Prof. Raffalovitch, his former pupil, was promoting interest in matters French..
There was a fine turnout of the local chivalry at the New York annual dinner on March 13. Ralph Reid and Jack Dodd thoroughly canvassed the town by telephone and the result was a group of about twenty. Before the dinner several of the faithful gathered in a room at the Commodore for conference, and one saw Bill Morrell, Steve Kenyon, Ping Miner, Harry Bruckner, Larry Healy, Wade Werden '21, Had Pinney, and maybe others. The class occupied two large round tables at the dinner. Your spy did not take notes, and will doubtless give offense to some by saying that he recalls having seen Robie, Pullen, Orr, Eddie Johnson, and Busher. Busher and Johnson, representing the Bronx, were overdressed.
