The Dartmouth Ski Club of New York has enjoyed an active first season, with 57 members taking part in the program of the club. Five official trips have been run during January and February, culminating in the party which journeyed to Hanover for the annual Alumni Carnival over the weekend of February 22. On January 12 and 19 the New York alumni skied at Bosquet Farms in Pittsfield, Mass., and on January 26 and February 9 they skied on the Ghost and Shadow trails in Pittsfield State Forest.

On- the February 9 trip, the Club participated in a downhill race on the Pittsfield trails, competing against the Mt. Greylock Ski Club and the Skidreiverein of New York. Each club had a team of 20 men, with the combined times of the first 18 determining the winner. The Mt. Greylock skiers won with a total time of 54 minutes 15.8 seconds, while the New York alumni were second with 90 minutes 25.4 seconds, and the Skidreiverein third with 98 minutes 42.8 seconds. In the individual results, Marvin Chandler '32 was second and Tom Mann '33 was fourth.
