The interfraternity hockey league is in the final stages of the playoffs. Kappa Kappa Kappa defeated Sigma Alpha Epsilon to the tune of 3-0 to win a place in the finals. The brothers Tuck of KKK together with Dick Hadley '39 and John Nassikas '3B form the capable spearhead of the winners' attack. In the other bracket Phi Gam has yet to meet the Betas in a semi-final match. From comparative scores and close observation of the ability of Don McCaffrey '4O, Brad Jenkins '3B and J. Litchfield '4O it looks as though the Phi Gams should nose out the Betas for the final contest.
The dorm hockey teams have also entered the playoffs but- are not sufficiently advanced for predictions to be made. The dorm championship team and the fraternity championship team will meet in a contest for the College championship.
Little progress in either fraternity or dormitory basketball has been made, final examinations and the Winter Carnival being contributing causes. The College Open Handball tournament is starting its fct round. The Fraternity Doubles elimination will get under way shortly.
Plans for the extra-mural meet with Harvard are nearing completion. Competition in boxing and wrestling will feature the meet, while the winner of the College championship in basketball will meet tie corresponding club from Harvard.
