GLORY TO DARTMOUTH, And so it went on the fifteenth of November at the Annapolis Hotel. Dartmouth Night was a huge success from all possible angles. The junior board of naval strategy held a meeting in the tap room prior to the dinner, and from that time on the sky was the limit. Following the meal the annual business meeting was held at which time the Officers for the coming year were elected (?) They are—President, Wellington F. Barto '29; Vice Presidents, Alfred A. Wheat 'B9, W. P. Stafford Hon. 'Ol, H. S. Bridges Hon. '35, Charles W. Tobey, F. L. Pearce 'l5; Secretary-Treasurer, N. Page Worthington '33. The Executive Committee is composed of Herbert Woods 'lO, David E. McCoy 'lB, Richard P. White 'lB, Lawrence C. Reeves '33, and Barry C. Sullivan '36.
The entertainment for the evening was outstanding, running from the historian's report by Stirling Wilson 'l6 to a skit put on by John L. Sullivan 'sr. The Dartmouth Warblers, headed by H. "Beethoven" Fitz '23 rendered a program of songs in a style not even faintly resembling the glee club. The less said about this part of the evening. the better. Following the scheduled events the crowd assembled in the aforementioned taproom where the naval strategists were seen going down for the third time. Too much credit cannot be given to Larry Reeves '33 and his able committee composed of Duke Barto '29, Sal Andretta '2O, Jack Means '2l, and Stirling Wilson 'l6, for a splendid Dartmouth Night.
The following Saturday the Dartmouths and the Cornells held their annual joint football luncheon to listen to the returns of the game from Hanover. Jim Pimper '33 and Bob Kay '33 were in charge of all arrangements, and besides turning up a good lunch, they supplied a swell game. This party is rapidly growing to be one of the best we have all year.
