THE REPORT of the committee in charge of the Glee Club concert and dance of March 31, submitted at our April meeting by chairman George Parkhurst, showed a very satisfactory excess of income over expenditure, though both had run into rather large figures. President McCarthy paid tribute to the loyal support given by the members of the club, and all agreed that the event had been one to mark with a red letter. A vote of thanks and a set of the Dartmouth dinner plates was voted to Miss Betty Field in recognition of the very valuable assistance she rendered on the social side of the party.

To keep Dartmouth before the minds of Maryland school boys, we decided to offer a trophy cup to the school that wins the Maryland Interscholastic Lacrosse championship, the "stick game" being decidedly the most popular spring sport among the schools and colleges of this section. We are very glad to see the development at Dartmouth of a really strong lacrosse team, supreme in New England last year, a team that gets inspiration and valuable experience from games and practice with Maryland teams on its annual early training trips. Maryland has done much to encourage lacrosse at Dartmouth, and it seems fitting that Dartmouth in turn should make a small contribution to Maryland lacrosse.

Dartmouth football fans please take notice that the Navy-Dartmouth game will he played in the Baltimore Stadium on October 14, and that we shall do our best to make those who come here to attend the game feel at home. Our plans, which are still in the making, include Dartmouth headquarters at the Hotel Belvedere, with an information and registration desk, and a tea-dance after the game. The Belvedere will make special reduced rates for the night and the week-end.
