WHEN NOVEMBER 14 was selected for the Annual Scholarship Benefit at the Pittsburgh Playhouse, we were not aware Dartmouth Night would also be celebrated the same evening. The Entertainment Committee has not been caught napping however, and after the play, we will meet at the University Club for a Dartmouth Night celebration. To be sure, the attendance will be somewhat swollen, what with wives, friends, and alumni guests. Sam Ewart '19, a man of strong voice, has "picked up" three other alumni to join him in a quartet. We predict Sam will still be the only song leader. As in the past, the proceeds from the entertainment at the Playhouse, which must be at least $100, will go to the revolving scholarship fund.

Our President, Joe Egolf '25, and Don Moore '23, have put real thought and time on our weekly luncheon meetings. Resultat least once a month we are to have a guest speaker. Bob McKenna '32, took over the first affair in October. On November 13 we are to hear Ray Sprigle, recently returned from London and staff editor of a local newspaper. The special luncheons are held in the private dining room at the Central Y.M.C.A.

We are pleased to welcome to our association Hugh J. Harley Jr. '37, Lamson Kerins '40, and George B. Moore '25.

Two weddings of interest can be reported, one of which the Central Harrisburg correspondent reported with a missing link. We refer to Lee Eckels' marriage, and hereby record the name of the bride, Helen McCreery. J. Watson Spangler '29 was married in September to Rosamond Schwerin. A pending wedding is that of Morton Burden '32, of Sewickley
