Pete and the Secretary were happy at Christmas to receive messages from Wales who still lives at 21 Atlantic Avenue, Old Orchard Beach, Maine.
Rose was laid up in the fall with a heart attack and, though better now, is told by his doctor that he must not go up and down stairs to tend the furnace. He has passed his 79th birthday and on Christmas Sunday spoke to the Men's Club in his church on the Meaning of Christmas.
Mary Frost, Mrs. Snow, Marden's daughter, Mrs. Fitts, and Mrs. Jenks sent special Christmas Greetings to '86 men and women through the Secretary. During the past summer Mrs. Jenks visited her daughter Ruth and her sister in Carmel, California. She is happy that her son Herbert lives near her in Evanston, Illinois. Of our '86 notes in the Dartmouth MAGAZINE she says, They keep me in touch withmany who were very dear to my belovedhusband. It is wonderful to feel sure thatin Love there can be no real separation.
