Her husband is in the 24th Marine Medical Division, and took part in the invasion of the Marshall Islands. Her son John K. And her other daughter, Mary McCormick, now in the Canadian Woman's Army is stationed at Mac Donald College Military Hospital near Montreal.

Philbrook, Dr. Edgar B. is now living at 157 California St., Santa Cruz, California, as the following word from him, dated Feb. 29, 1944, indicates. He writes to Biff thus:
"The year 1886 was a long time ago and a lot of water has gone under the bridge since then, carrying the flotsam and jetsam of daily life, so sometimes we forget the better things. I was delighted this morning to receive the "News Letters." After 40 years of medical practice I retired some eighteen years ago, and for ten years spent most of my time in travel, studying bird life, and collecting shells. We had a lot of pleasure, my wife and I, in this pastime. At present I am busy putting the finishing touches on my book answering the question, "How do medicinal agents cure?" I shall probably have to publish it myself, and after sending a few autographed copies to friends, no doubt the demand will have been more than met. For fun I fish in Monterey Bay. I am well. No kick coming."
Newton, on his way to Massachusetts from Winter Park, Florida, spent the nights of April 30 and May 1 with the secretary. We took luncheon with Hadlock 'B7, in New York May a. Newton will be in Hanover June g and 10 to represent the secretary and the class of 'B6.
