"We share with Dr. and Mrs. Ross pride in their son; I quote from the Caledonia Press, Sr. Johnsbury, Vt„ of November 29, 1945:

"Ralph H. Ross, son of Dr. and Mrs. E. H. Ross of town has been promoted from Division Plant Superintendent to General Plant Superintendent in the American Telephone and Telegraph Cos. He will have charge of long distance engineering, maintenance and construction in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, lowa, North and South Dakota and Nebraska. His headquarters will be in Chicago."

Dr. Eliza Ransom writes Newton from Belvidere, Ill., and to prove her youth says, "Whenever the ice is good, I go skating."

I have a letter from Donald W. Cameron, chairman of the Hanover Reunion committee, saying that the official dates of our 6oth year Reunion are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 28, 29 and 30. These dates give us a chance to attend: President Dickey's reception Friday night; the meeting of the General Association of Alumni in Webster Hall, Saturday forenoon; and a Union Memorial Service Sunday morning.

Newton is again to have charge of our Reunion Program, and says that he is already planning it—details to be given us later. If you have suggestions please send them to 350 Interlachen Ave., Winter Park, Fla. Also please let Peggy Sayre know as early as possible what reservations you want her to make for you at the Inn.

Let's all meet in Hanover and ask Pete to tell us the story of a book he has written about My Four Years at Dartmouth for his grandchildren.
