Gillie writes: "You will be surprised to learn that the Class of 1901 received at the Alumni Dinner last night the cup which is annually awarded for having the largest percentage of available men present at the dinner. (The class is the honored possessor of the cup on its table during the duration of the banquet.) There were present the following men, Bishop, Boyle, Gilmore, Harris, Burleigh, Rugg, Cudworth, McCarten, Marsh, Newcomb and Owen."
The first of February Jim Kimball spent in Florida, and then left for a speaking trip, attending Lumbermen's Conventions in Virginia, Ohio and Salt Lake City. He planned to run over to San Francisco and see Jim Jr., who is now located there.
Everett M. Stevens Jr. has accepted a position as Assistant Photographer with the General Electric Company, and is now located at the Schenectady Works.
The engagement of Miss Elizabeth J. Hawkins of Wilmington, Delaware to Thomas C. Remsen was announced last winter. They are to be married on June 15th, 1940. Our very best wishes go out to young Tom and his bride-elect.
C. H. Merrill is practicing in Oskaloosa, lowa, specializing in the Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat. His son graduated from Choate School in Wallingford, Conn., last June, and is now a freshman at the University of lowa.
